Use & Care
For external use only. Refer to each individual product label for ingredients and directions. Patch test skincare before first use and discontinue if irritation occurs. Avoid direct eye contact. Store skincare away from heat and direct sunlight; temperature changes may affect whipped texture.
Remove the candle from all gift packaging before lighting. Burn on a heat-resistant surface, within sight, away from children, pets and anything flammable, and follow the candle label. Strike one match at a time and keep matches out of reach of children.

What is tallow?
Tallow has been used for centuries in skincare. With bioavailable vitamins A, B12, D, E, K, and various fatty acids, tallow helps soften, moisturize, and revitalize the skin.
Do your products have a "beefy" scent?
We get this question all the time and while it is very valid, the answer is no!
We use a wet-rendering process for all of our tallow products. This completely purifies the tallow, leaving it odorless, while maintaining the key nutrients and benefits for your skin!
How much tallow should I use?
A little goes a long way with our tallow products. Start by using the size of a penny and see if you need more! Tallow will soak into your skin and leave your skin barrier deeply moisturized.
How should I store my tallow products?
Store your moisturizer away from light and drastic temperature changes.
To maintain its original texture, store your moisturizer in a typical temperature-controlled environment (68-74 degrees). Extreme temperatures can cause the tallow to harden in cold conditions or melt in warm conditions. If this occurs, there's no need to worry; the moisturizer is still usable, but know the texture may change.
Can I use tallow if I have oily skin?
Yes! When the skin is excessively cleansed and stripped of its natural oils, it tends to overproduce oil. Using a high-quality moisturizer, like whipped tallow, can help maintain skin's moisture balance and prevent excess oil production.
Can I use tallow if I have acne-prone skin?
Yes! The antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and skin-repairing qualities of tallow can greatly benefit acne-prone skin.
What are the uses for tallow skincare?
There are many uses for your tallow skincare products.
Our products can be used for moisturizing the skin (face & body), diaper rashes, and eczema/other skin irritations.
Is this product organic?
Our tallow boasts a clean label with no artificial ingredients. However, it is not certified organic.
What part of the cow does the fat come from? Is it suet?
The fat we use primarily comes from the kidney area and loins of the cow. This specific type of fat is known as suet, prized for its purity and quality. Our "nose-to-tail sustainable farms" ensure that no fat goes to waste, utilizing all parts of the animal for their unique benefits for a premium blend of beef tallow.
Are the farms sustainable?
Yes, the farms we partner with focus on ethical practices that respect both the land and the animals. Every batch of our tallow carries the promise of sustainability and a nod to generations past.
Does this product need to be refrigerated?
No, the product is shelf-stable at room temperature. However, you can refrigerate or freeze it if you wish to extend the shelf life. Refrigeration will make the product harder, but many bakers prefer this consistency for creating flakier crusts.
What can I say! I love the unscented whipped tallow! Since the moment I tried it, I've been addicted to the feel of soft hydrated skin on my 74 yr old body in dry and hot Arizona. Love this tallow and I have tried several over the years (mostly off Amazon). First saw it at their restaurant in Ocean Springs and have now used for 2+ years! We’ve since moved to Florida and I was thrilled to learn it’s available for online purchase too. Goes on very smooth and your skin drinks it up so no greasy feel. This brand and their dedication to producing quality products are quite rare. I buy the tallow in bulk, and this was for my Mother to start using it as well. I sent the whipped tallow to her for ease of use. I can't imagine switching back to normal lotion. My skin loves it! I also mix the tallow with aloe sometimes to make myself dewy and moisturized. I will continue to buy these products. They have finally helped my dry, KP skin to calm down and stay so soft. You won't be disappointed with anything from this shop.
I love this product I use it everyday
I had a student that used this product. I fell in love with it. Nowhere local to me sells anything like this. I recently had melanoma removed on my back so I got this to put on my scar. The smell is amazing. The feel is not greasy at all. It’s so light and smooth. My 5 year old son absolutely loves helping me apply this moisturizer to my scar as well as his belly. I can’t wait for the vanilla bean lip balm to be in stock.
I received my second order and was greatly disappointed! The jar was only 1/3 full and had the consistency of coconut oil, not whipped at all. I sent a message with photos and have heard nothing back.

Just when I thought I couldn’t love this tallow any more, I tried the eucalyptus and lavender scents. Brand new kind of love. The vanilla is still the perfect staple but these scents take it to the next level. Plus, Lady May is the best company to work with. The lip balm is a new obsession, too!!! The BEST.

I’ve been on a search to find the tallow moisturizer that I enjoy the most and so far your product is that for me. The size for the price is great. The smell gave me instant nostalgia, reminded me of marshmallows! The texture is super soft and feels great against my skin and even the following day I still feel it. The tallow is great but needs more packaging. Two of the four jars I got were shattered when I opened the box. I can’t use any of the tallow from the two jars because of the glass shards.
I have been using this whipped tallow for years. I always get asked about skin and how good it looks. I say it's just the tallow lotion!
I use tallow on my kids skin and I just happened upon this brand. I LOVE this whipped tallow, and my kids do as well. I found that a lot of unscented tallow lotions smell very strongly of tallow, sometimes it’s a little off putting, but this one isn’t strong scented at all. I will be repurchasing!

Once my package arrived, I inspected all the items. The tallow stick is wonderful, the free vanilla bonus is got looked perfect. The main item did not though. The Whipped Tallow looked like it was already used with a huge chunk missing in a swiped design, like someone had already taken there finger through. I made a complaint, havent heard anything for 3 days. I understand not working weekends but a full Monday and not even an acknowledgement or time frame.
I'm a frequent buyer of all the scents but I bought this one specifically to help soothe the molluscom on my 3 year olds legs. The scent is perfect, rubs in nice and does a great job nourishing his skin. Will continue to buy!
