What is tallow?
Tallow has been used for centuries in skincare. With bioavailable vitamins A, B12, D, E, K, and various fatty acids, tallow helps soften, moisturize, and revitalize the skin.
Do your products have a "beefy" scent?
We get this question all the time and while it is very valid, the answer is no!
We use a wet-rendering process for all of our tallow products. This completely purifies the tallow, leaving it odorless, while maintaining the key nutrients and benefits for your skin!
How much tallow should I use?
A little goes a long way with our tallow products. Start by using the size of a penny and see if you need more! Tallow will soak into your skin and leave your skin barrier deeply moisturized.
How should I store my tallow products?
Store your moisturizer away from light and drastic temperature changes.
To maintain its original texture, store your moisturizer in a typical temperature-controlled environment (68-74 degrees). Extreme temperatures can cause the tallow to harden in cold conditions or melt in warm conditions. If this occurs, there's no need to worry; the moisturizer is still usable, but know the texture may change.
Can I use tallow if I have oily skin?
Yes! When the skin is excessively cleansed and stripped of its natural oils, it tends to overproduce oil. Using a high-quality moisturizer, like whipped tallow, can help maintain skin's moisture balance and prevent excess oil production.
Can I use tallow if I have acne-prone skin?
Yes! The antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and skin-repairing qualities of tallow can greatly benefit acne-prone skin.
What are the uses for tallow skincare?
There are many uses for your tallow skincare products.

Is this product organic?
Our tallow boasts a clean label with no artificial ingredients. However, it is not certified organic.
What part of the cow does the fat come from? Is it suet?
The fat we use primarily comes from the kidney area and loins of the cow. This specific type of fat is known as suet, prized for its purity and quality. Our "nose-to-tail sustainable farms" ensure that no fat goes to waste, utilizing all parts of the animal for their unique benefits for a premium blend of beef tallow.
Are the farms sustainable?
Yes, the farms we partner with focus on ethical practices that respect both the land and the animals. Every batch of our tallow carries the promise of sustainability and a nod to generations past.
Does this product need to be refrigerated?
No, the product is shelf-stable at room temperature. However, you can refrigerate or freeze it if you wish to extend the shelf life. Refrigeration will make the product harder, but many bakers prefer this consistency for creating flakier crusts.
I absolutely love this! It gets every bit of make up off with just a pea size amount and two swipes with a warm washcloth. It leaves my skin clean but not stripped or tight feeling. The only thing I use after it is a spray of a milk toner and a bit of under eye serum sometimes. In the morning my face feels soft and looks so healthy and nice. I gave my Mom a sample and she also loves it and will be ordering some too. I am also a huge fan of their whipped tallow, the tallow lip balm, and their honey. I love this company! How brilliant of them to create tallow skin products from the beef used in their restaurant! This is how my grandmother did things. She wasted nothing & found a valid use for every part of produce, poultry, pork, eggs, and beef. This is the way. I was also pleased to read your story and that you are also Catholics. The product arrived, but was damaged and unusable. The company still has yet to refund my purchase or contact me regarding this issue. I ordered this to try it as a more natural facial cleanser, but I'm actually using it as an eczema cream instead. It has helped so much more than the creams my doctor told me to use. My hubby is using it as a hand/nail/cuticle cream as well.

I purchased a 2 oz container of this for my husky. She has elbow pads that get irritated in some weathers. While some products have helped to an extent, generally they been on the messier side of things. This stuff is so perfect for the elbow pads. I'm able to use a little on my finger, and it seriously glides on her elbows … almost like butter! I am so tempted to purchase some for myself. 🤍

I needed a cleanser that was gentle enough for my sensitive skin and this fits the bill. Very moisturizing while still getting all of my makeup off. Doesn’t sting my eyes. So much better for my skin than what I was using. My skin loves it.
